Who is lovepupplus?

What is lovepup+ exactly?

When this US-based group of dog lovers came to us, the business was nothing more than an idea. An idea for an app that could help new (and old) dog owners by leveraging the knowledge and expertise of the #LovepupFoundation - an animal welfare organisation based in California.

There was no app, no brand, no website, no business or company - just a name and an idea.

What was the ask?

Our role in the business:

It was clear to us that there was passion and drive to create something meaningful, we just needed to help them make it real.

So, we worked with them to strategically approach a soft launch of the brand along with digital and OOH collateral as well as a basic microsite (landing page to start) in order to start the journey and create a legitimate home for the business.

We started at the beginning, with the brand:

Logo

Typeface

Strapline

Image treatment

Tone

How we delivered:

We created event collateral as well as digital assets for an (extremely tight deadline) launch event that was the introduction of the brand to the world.

With that came a landing page and submission form CTA in order to gauge the target market’s taste for the proposed application.

Post-event, we have grown the landing page into a hard-working marketing microsite that leverages the approach and vision of the lovepup+ operations, drives interest in the brand and sets up the transition into app form by positioning it as a valuable source of information and guidance for this engaged audience.

What about the app you ask?

At the time of writing this case study, we are working closely with the lovepup+ ladies to secure their big funding to create and launch ‘the dog people app’ - complete with e-commerce, video tutorials, tips, tricks and a fair amount of cute dog pictures!

Will it be the mobile native app as originally ideated? Will it be a cutting-edge Progressive Web App (PWA)? Or will it be something completely different?!
