Who is getTOD?

UK-based start-up getTOD (TOD being an acronym for Tradespeople on Demand’) approached Platinum Seed in early 2016 to create and develop the getTOD application in its entirety.


What was the ask?

With the intent of being a disruptor in the infamously unreliable industry of home maintenance, getTOD needed to instantly connect users/consumers with dedicated service providers such as plumbers, electricians and locksmiths. 

The app would play a pivotal role in the process as the chief communication platform between all parties and serve to accelerate engagement with suppliers, and easily enable users to locate, brief, and get quotes from suppliers – who are ranked and rated within the app by previous users. 

In a nutshell, we created the Uber of home maintenance – getTOD.  

How we delivered:

Downloads > 15 000 since August 2016  

Engagement > 10 000 completed jobs
